The Indian Bahá'í Temple located in New Delhi, India is easily one of the most well known structures in the world. For its symbolic structure, architectural feat and utilization for the cultivation of community, it is simply the most famous and recognized temple the Bahá'í Faith has created thus far.

This temple, also known commonly as the Lotus Temple, is stunning in person, but remarkably calming in presence and loving in efficacy. Designed after a lotus flower, this temple really brings forth the energy of strength through trial and grace from hardship.

Bahá'í Houses of Worship (or temples, as they often called) are places of prayer built by Bahá'ís, and completely open to people of all faiths, religions and beliefs!

These gorgeous temples are physical manifestations of two “essential and inseparable aspects of Bahá'í life: worship and service.” They are designed to be places of prayer for all, with subsidiary humanitarian branches that could include hospitals, schools, universities, hospices, and shelters for those in need.
